Immersive teaching
Taught by experienced native tutors, City’s language courses will immerse you in your chosen language with a fully interactive programme of teaching designed to get you speaking, reading and writing in a foreign language.
Delivered in small interactive groups, each class is unique and tailored to the groups needs and interests. You’ll learn about current affairs, culture and traditions as part of your overall understanding of the language.
Building confidence
We believe the best way to learn is to have a go - even if it means making lots of mistakes – so you’ll be engage in conversation with your tutor and fellow classmates as much as possible.
How it works
We offer levels from beginning to advanced and can help you to find the level that will suit you. Our language coordinator can offer personalised advice based on your knowledge and experience.
Each level consists of three 10-week modules or ‘parts’, taught at progressive levels, and starting in September, January and April/May. You can choose to do just one module or sign up for the full year.
