We aim to take the stress out of finding somewhere to live, when you become a student at City. Our halls are affordable and conveniently located, with places guaranteed for those meeting the criteria.
Why choose City accommodation?
Why choose halls
As a student at City, you can choose from a wide range of University accommodation, most of it in walking distance of lectures, classes and laboratories. We invest heavily in subsidies on undergraduate rents to keep your costs low and unlike many universities, we don’t make any distinction based on where you’re from.
So, halls are open to all students and you will become part of a diverse community of people from different backgrounds. Our Guarantee Scheme for first year undergraduates means you are assured of a room in halls if you meet the criteria.
Why choose private accommodation
If you prefer the idea of private accommodation, you are in the right place – based in the heart of London, there is a huge choice of rooms, flats and houses.
The private accommodation service is run by the University of London Housing Services, which means you have access to a wide network of accommodation and there is free advice from the University’s housing experts, in case you ever need help resolving an issue with your landlord.
