The Practice Assessment Document (PAD) has been developed to ensure that student nurses are prepared to successfully meet the Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses.

MyKnowledgeMap (MKM) has created an electronic version of the PAD giving greater flexibility in the way it can be used, thus creating ePAD.

The ePAD team is part of the Allocation’s team from the School of Health and Psychological Sciences in City University.

The team runs training sessions for practice staff who are or will be Practice Assessors or Practice Supervisors to student nurses.

The sessions cover how to navigate the ePAD system from the Practice Assessor/Supervisor perspective.

What does the training session cover?

  • How to access ePAD through the correct link (this is not accessible through Google).
  • How to navigate the dashboard.
  • The different forms that need to be completed and who needs to complete them.
  • How to find and edit the student’s hours.

The training sessions are online and are held periodically.
