If you are a student who has not previously studied Undergraduate Law but would like to follow a Law career path, there is still a way for you to do so by either taking a Graduate Diploma in Law or Graduate Entry LLB programme.
A Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) is a conversion course for students that wish to follow either the Solicitor or Barrister career path, but haven't studied for an Undergraduate LLB previously.
By studying the GDL, you will gain knowledge and insight into the core principles of legal theory and legislation which will allow you to progress and further your knowledge upon completion.
By achieving the your GDL you will be qualified to take the Solicitors' Practice Programme (SPP) which is designed for those preparing for the new route to qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales (SQE) and the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) designed for barristers.
