About
The Department of Global, Public and Population Health and Policy brings together a multidisciplinary range of expertise to deliver excellence in teaching and research.
Our well-established and unique programmes are designed to help students contribute to better health systems nationally and globally through management, policy, practice, and leadership.
The national and global research activities within the Department span public health, health psychology, health management, innovation and change, and food and health policy through a One Health lens and are supported by our research centres.
The School of Health & Medical Sciences combines the previous St George’s School of Health & Medical Sciences and City’s School of Health & Psychological Sciences. The Departments within this School are currently undergoing development, which will be complete by the new academic year in September 2025.
Please note that rankings referred to on this page were awarded to City, University of London and St George’s, University of London separately prior to our merger in August 2024.
